Synergistic Role in Defoamers: Defoamer actives are naturally water-repellent. Wetting agents help these hydrophobic components initially wet and integrate into the aqueous medium without immediately floating to the surface.
Performance Benefits:
Prevents "Oil Floating" : Ensures the defoamer does not separate and form an unwanted oily film on the surface of the application bath.
Improves Initial Dispersion: Guarantees uniform distribution of hydrophobic defoamer particles upon addition.
Enhances Compatibility: Reduces the risk of the defoamer causing surface defects (like craters or fish-eyes) in sensitive applications like paper coating or paints.
