Metal Cutting Fluids
Metal cutting fluid is used to cool and lubricate knives and mechanical parts in metal cutting, drilling, and grinding. It is composed of a variety of super functional additives with great cooling performance, lubricity, corrosion protection, and degreasing cleaning performance.
Metal cutting fluids can be classified into oil based and water based fluids. Water-based cutting fluids can be classified into emulsion, synthetic cutting fluids, and semi-synthetic cutting fluids. Surfactants in the cutting fluid cause excessively thick working fluids, high friction and heat, and issues with pumping.

PCB Cleaning
Defoamer is used mainly in the inner line production section of exposure, development and etching, and stripping process. The process produces a large number of bubbles because of chemical reactions and mixing which can greatly impact the efficiency of the cleaning equipment. The ingredients used in the process are exposed to alkali and temperatures between 30-40*C. Polyether and silicone emulsions are used in small doses to help control the foam and prevent bubbles from forming.
